History

What have we done since the studio was founded?

Studio Film Bilder will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on 26 April 2014. Within the scope of the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, Thomas Meyer-Hermann will explore the studio’s history.

From the outset, our goal was to unite art and commerce - it began with the production of both purely artistic films and commissioned works. Later, there were projects that allowed us to combine the best of both worlds - the enthusiasm and creativity of artistic ventures and the slick professionalism of commissions. As a result, our studio is ideally positioned to embrace the future of animation - and to produce films that are original, technically sophisticated, expressive, fast-paced, both linear and interactive, both single and mixed-media, and always highly popular.
