The character is first modeled in clay, and then constructed and prepared for animation in Maya.

Animators Julian Vavrovsky and Martin Schmidt, plus a team of eleven, work intensivly for three months.

Director Daniel Nocke shows Emanuel Strixner, Stefan Schäfholz, and Sven Kempermann the live action shots.

Actress Nina Weniger demonstrates the mannerisms of the badly hurt female Rotweiler, who exists just as a drawing at this stage.

The female is also modeled in clay, and later covered with a photographed fur texture in Maya.

Producer Thomas Meyer-Hermann tries out the film location: the traditional swabian restaurant, Stuttgart's Murrhardter Hof.
